Lick, lick.... Lick, lick,
that's what we have to do.
We have to wash behind our ears
after all that fishy food.
First the left, then the right,
we smear our fishy whiskers,
'wouldn't want another cat
pass by and nearly miss us.
Our faces get a special wash
preened with extra care.
The other bits we wash only
if, and when, and where.
Our bottoms? Well they need a clean
But here lies our dilemma
The tongue, it's rough, and the tastes enough
to spoil all washing pleasure!
Oh well, better get on with it then!
